Life in Chaos

Whew! Breathe! So, about 4 weeks ago Brent came to me and said he thought we needed to put the house on the market to move closer to his work. (now we have been discussing this for a long time but 4 weeks ago it was decided) Not only that but he wanted it listed in 2 weeks. So we kicked it in super HIGH gear and worked on the house non-stop for 2 weeks. Cleaning, de-cluttering, staging, remodeling. You name it and we did it! We had our realtor come by on Monday to take pictures and get the house listed. The house was BEAUTIFUL! I love it! It looked fantastic. I was so looking forward to sitting back and resting in our beautiful clean home! NOPE....no chance for rest. Pictures were on the website by Tuesday. Wednesday we had a showing and an informal offer. Thursday we had an official offer! Not only that but they wanted us out by the 15th! BUT on top of all this....Brent had to leave out of the country a week from that date. So we spend a few days looking for a home. (We have 2 in mind) On Friday we had to MOVE EVERYTHING because Brent had to leave on Saturday. So we don't have a place to go. Our fantastic family is letting us stay with them! They are doing so good. They are not complaining. They are just going with the flow. Thanks Mom and Dad!!! Not only that but our family helped us move and everything. I can't rave about them enough! Thank you family!

Today, I finished it all! (after a few extra trips) I gathered all of it except 2 ladders. Cleaned just about from top to bottom. And we are out of my beautiful, perfect FIRST home! sniff sniff

My hot husband called me today and told me he was going on an African safari tomorrow! I pray he gets to go!

As for our beautiful, perfect, first baby......Adam! WOW WOW WOW I can't say enough! You would not believe how fantastic and smart he is! He is just thriving at MiMi and PopPops! His words are getting clearer! He gets up in the morning and goes to the upstairs gate and calls down for us....MaMa...if I don't answer he will call for MiMi. That is just about what he does for everything. He askes me for stuff all the time. He will call my name MaMa MaMa over and over again and if he doesn't get what he wants we will look straight at his MiMi and then call for MiMi trying to get her to defy me and he gets what he wants. If PopPop is home he will then try PopPop. He LOVES tractors. When we drive down the rode he cranes his neck looking for tractors and school buses. He loves them. When he sees a tractor he SCREAMS at the top of his lungs Mama or MiMi!!!!!!!! TRACTOR!!!! Full voice. Then he will clap for himself because he spotted the tractor and pointed it out to us.....(who did not see the tractor of course) So smart.
