Swoooooon

This little girl is already the princess of our lives. She is a little sweetheart right now. Granted she really still only sleeps, eats and ya know..... But I love it all!

My favorite right now is after she eats, she will doze off and enjoys a little snooze on my chest with her little neck craned looking up a little. I love it! It makes it hard to move her and not hold her.

So you guessed it.....I tend to hold her often! With that said, I feel like I worried too much with Adam. Worried about spoiling him etc. and found that I didn't enjoy his baby moments. So right now, I am leaning toward you can't spoil a baby. I will sleep train her when she is a few months old....but right now at 1 month. I am enjoying her newborn baby stage!

ADAM:
Adam stole my heart years ago! And he tears at my heart strings every day! I love him so much. And Claire LOVES him! Whenever Adam is around Claire's vision....she already turns her head to him! Already! We try to tell Adam that she has eyes for him only but he doesn't get it! But it is a big deal to Mommy!

Adam is having some adjustments! But this too shall pass!! Most importantly, he loves Claire! Prays for her. Pats her. Sits by her. Sweet!

Claire week 2 and 3

Claire's 2nd week was about the same as the first. She was still in her sleepy newborn stage and I loved it!

Week 3
Claire is more alert! Her little eyes just look all around and she already holds her head up! (with cautious help of course) During tummy time she will already turn her head back and forth to both sides.

She still eats about every 3 hours and her nap times tend to be from 6-9AM 1-4PM and 7-9PM Then she tends to be alert from 11-1AM. We are just taking her day by day! I am not forcing her to be anything but herself! If she wants to sleep...sleep. If she wants to eat...eat.

So far (not to jinx us) she is a good baby. VERY gassy but good! As long as she is burped, changed and fed she is pretty good. Likes to be held already but that is ok. Adam at 3 years old is so big already so if I look at it in the context of she will only be this cuddly for 3 years then I don't mind holding her!

Oh and on her week 2 appt she weighed 8lbs. 9oz. which was FANTASTIC news to us!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Adam

Dear Adam,
It is hard to believe you just turned 3 years old! I hold you now and you are so big! Your face is thicker! You feet are bigger, your legs are fuller!! I hold you and just can't believe I am holding my baby boy! It brings tears to my eyes! It is true, that time flies and you will be grown up before we know it! I promise.....it was less than a month ago when you were curling up in my lap and I could pick you up like a baby....now it is almost impossible!!!

Oh, I love you so much by big 3 year old!!!!
